How to Play
In Avarice, your units are your resources, the randomized map is filled with advantageous terrain to exploit, and combat is fast, positional, and rewards sharp intuition and tactical deception.At the start of each turn, you choose where to strike. Once the dust has settled, turn your gains into momentum—fueling your economy, expanding your empire, and positioning your hidden forces for what comes next.Attack – Reveal units and hit enemies where they’re vulnerable.Develop – Reinforce your armies, expand your infrastructure, and strengthen your empire.Maneuver – Claim ground, pressure key positions, and set up the threats you hope to unleash next turn.
Every choice in Avarice is fast, deliberate, and deeply tactical. Timing, positioning, and deception are everything.Combat blends the calculated positioning of chess, the deception of hidden units, and the swift resolution of rock-paper-scissors.Each unit type has a unique range, ability, and target it defeats.
